UNLESS THEY COME FROM A MILITARY FAMILY,
most teens probably don’t think of the U.S. Armed Forces when they’re
considering career options. Yet every branch of our military is made up of hundreds
of thousands of people who work in many of the same jobs as those done by people
outside of the military. For some, their military job is one they’ll keep for life. Others
will take the invaluable training their military experience provided and use it to start
a successful civilian career. So whether your teen is looking to simply gain leadership
skills and self-discipline or is interested in working their way up to four-star general, it’s
time to give the military a closer look. Oh, and did we mention the tuition assistance
