They traveled to Tallassee to stay with family and have lived there ever since. Madelaine started Kindergarten in the Tallassee City School District, and has been thriving there for her entire academic career. Her claim to fame is her love for music, which began at the end of her sixth grade year. Since then, she has grown to become quite a skilled musician. She is a member of the Alabama All State Band and Choir, the Montgomery Youth Orchestra and several other distinguished organizations. When she isn’t doing something music-related, she can be found participating in cross country/track and field, Mu Alpha Theta, or her church’s youth group. Through all she does, Madelaine explains that she wants to be remembered as “someone who was different. Someone who was known for her love for Jesus Christ.” She adds, “I want to be different from this world, and not conform to this world.
