The Ford ASSET Program at Lawson State Community College is a two year Associate Degree program, where students alternate between the classroom and work at their sponsoring Ford, Lincoln dealership (usually in their home town). This arrangement allows the student to earn money while advancing their skills. The students study academics as well as Ford Motor Company automotive training. In addition to the Associate Degree, the graduates receive the same Ford training credentials that technicians receive from Ford Motor Company training centers. The program is the best “bang for the buck” in the automotive training field! Students attend classes and labs on campus for 8 weeks and work in their hometown dealerships for the remaining 8 weeks, applying the theory learned while on campus. ASSET Graduates: • Earn An Associate Degree in Automotive Technology. • R eceive the same Ford Service Technician Specialty Training (STST) credentials that technicians receive attending Ford Motor Company Training Centers. • Gain hands-on, in-dealership experience. • Earn while learning with very affordable tuition. • Have a high paying job waiting for you after graduation.
