Ask Allison: Hey Allison, how can I create the best study space for a great school year? Staying organized is key, especially when you’ll be studying in your bedroom. In order to best utilize those precious square inches and make your space functional, you’ll need to get cre- ative! We have some great tips to help you maximize your space without sacrificing your style. First, start with a desk. Try going with an elegant desk with metallic legs. The great thing about metallic is it acts as a neutral and goes with any color accent. You don’t want anything too bold or large; oversized furniture can make a room feel cramped. Strategically placed mirrors on the wall are a great way to create the illusion of a larger room, plus accent mirrors come in endless styles and will add a pop of personality into any space. Tips: > Use magazine holders for textbooks and binders! > For additional storage, use vertical cubic shelves. > Enhance  baskets. the space by adding functional accessories such as or a small plant in one of the cubes to > Place  pictures brighten up your study space.
