This coursework and research program offers you
with a higher level of experience in independent
analysis and research in your chosen area of
expertise. You will work closely with a supervisor
who will provide you with academic and individual
guidance in your chosen research project.
This program is designed for students who do not
hold a four-year Honours degree or equivalent but
wish to undertake a higher level degree by
research. Upon its completion, you can consider
the option of pursuing a master’s by research
degree or a PhD.
Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, you will
be able to:
● demonstrate advanced knowledge and technical
skills in at least one area of science
● develop, apply, integrate and generate scientific
knowledge in professional contexts to analyse
challenges and to develop effective solutions
● work independently to undertake a scientific
literature review, and to design, develop and
implement a research project
