This is a research degree which involves the
independent investigation of a research problem
which you are to formulate. It is expected that the
research undertaken will make a significant
contribution to the discipline in which you are
enrolled. You will be supported by a minimum of
two supervisors throughout your candidature.

Progression to Further Studies
You can apply to transfer to a PhD candidature
after a defined period (usually 9-12 months
enrolment full-time or equivalent), provided that
satisfactory progress has been made and certain
conditions are met.
