With a very diverse student community,
we at Keele welcome our international
students. We are pleased that many choose
to stay and continue their professional
education and development through to
postgraduate level.
An inspiring, academic setting
with a friendly, diverse community
awaits you at Keele
International postgraduate
students choose Keele for the
high quality research led teaching,
the interdisciplinary nature of our
courses, the supportive academic
staff and the inclusive campus
community. Students from all
over the world choose to make
Keele their home as it offers
the opportunity to gain a global
perspective combined with
tradition and innovation. Whatever
you choose to study here, you’ll
be made to feel welcome.
Whether you’re considering
studying abroad for the first time
or you’ve already studied in the
UK, you’ll find all the support you
need at Keele to get the most
from your experience.
The International Office is
normally the first point of contact
for enquirers and so we provide
useful information and signposting
to more specific services. The
Recruitment Team manages the
University’s relationships with a
number of international funding
agencies and scholarship bodies
and also supports institutional
partnership development to
facilitate greater international
collaboration. The Global
Education Team administers all
aspects of Keele’s international
mobility activities, which for
postgraduate students include
traineeships funded by ERASMUS+
International Credit Mobility.
Pre-sessional English courses
ranging from 4 to 16 weeks are
available to improve your English
proficiency and confidence in
using academic English. These are
complemented by visiting external
speakers, an introduction to British
Culture and a programme of social
and cultural activities, helping you
to settle in your new surroundings.
Academic and International
Office staff travel regularly giving
lots of enquirers the chance to
ask questions face to face but
when we’re not in town, we have
approved agents you can call
on to support you through the
application process.
