“It is both a privilege and
honour to be programme
director for the MSc Biomedical
Blood Science programme.
I am always inspired and
transformed by our students,
but also proud of the incredible
success they achieve post-
graduation, securing positions
in a range of disciplines
including Medicine, Pathology,
Healthcare Science, private labs,
PhDs and teachers.
Such examples are of one of
our students who went on to
return to Nigeria to develop a
new coagulation department
as chief Biomedical Scientist
and another who developed a
new role as a neurophysiology
technician within the NHS.
Students develop their
research skills through our
MSc courses in Bioscience
and Neuroscience that can
involve extensive projects in
international institutes, making
them scientists and citizens of
the world.”
