Our assessment strategy results
from extensive liaison with a
range of employers. Typical skills
our graduates can evidence
include effective communication,
independent problem solving,
the ability to construct rigorous,
evidence-based argument
and an appreciation of ethical,
leadership, management and
funding considerations. Skills and
attributes that are highly desired
and demanded by employers
today.
Our postgraduate courses
are supported by a strong
internationally recognised
research agenda within three
themes: Centre of Applied
Entomology and Parasitology,
Neuroscience and Cellular and
Molecular Medicine, all have
gained support by a range of
national and international funding
agents. International links occur
throughout the world particularly
in Europe, South America, Africa
and SE Asia where impacts on
health and society have occurred.
The PG subject areas offered:

· Neuroscience
· Parasitology
· Vector Biology
Some of our programmes are
available on a part-time basis;
considered on a case-by-case
basis. Particular consideration is
given to applicants in employment
where possible opportunities to
develop research collaboration.
Additionally, some of our
taught modules can be taken
independently for CPD purposes.
