The Bridges Golf Club The Bridges Golf Club while several museums and galleries anchor the area’s vibrant arts scene. One of the more striking additions to the area’s architecture is the Ohr-O'- Keefe Museum of Art. Originally founded in 1994 by a Mississippi cit- izens group, with funding support by the Knight Foundation, the organi- zation first opened the George Ohr Arts and Cultural Center in Biloxi. By 1999, Frank Gehry, Gehry Part- ners LLP, began design of the new Museum. e Design process took four years: 1999-2003. Museum con- struction began in 2004, only to be destroyed by Hurricane Katrina.
