Following last year’s hand-crafted, letterpress editions of The Shakespeare Sonnets, a Sherlock Holmes Hexalogy, Frankenstein or: a Modern Prometheus, and Three War Stories by David Mamet, the Press kicked off this year with the completely hand-illus- trated and hand-lettered edition of Dante’s Inferno and a timeless publi- cation of T.S. Eliot’s The Waste Land. “In this age of disposable and in- tangible communications, we are see- ing a flourishing of craftsmanship and the appreciation of beautifully- made objects that are designed to last,” says Luke Pontifell. “Ultimately, what we do is a very simple thing.
