CBS ultimately dropped both Wonder Woman after three seasons ( two on its network ) and The Amazing Spider-Man after two , purportedly to avoid “ an overload ” of comic book programming on the network , keeping The Incredible Hulk , which ran for another three seasons and three television movies ( Brown 14 May 1979 17 ).
