We also measure our success by the number of residential
units constructed in downtown.
Capital investments at our municipal airport, in the industrial
district and in the entertainment district are all linked to our
City Council’s priority for economic development.
Strong neighborhood programs, the Viridian planned
development, the new Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts,
historic preservation, and the plan for conventions and tourism
are examples of projects, which are helping to create a healthy
balance between residential and commercial development.
