A skived piece of leather for the second of the pair of shoes. This process of creating that final shoes starts with test shoes. This is a test shoe that the client wears for weeks and reports back any changes that need to be made. This shoes, if you look closely, is different in design of the lines of the shoes for a curvier, cleaner look. Jeff completes the upper for the final pair of shoes. A deep red, vegetable tanned leather from Italy is sewn together. What you see here is the upper coming together with the inner liner after decorative/structural sewing was done off-site. the beige liner you see is very thin, flexible, and very soft for comfort.
