& More 2015
The visitors kept the lead when Parr found himself all alone in the
Barbados half, he kept his cool to score and put the visitors up 6-3. A
number of chances in the final chukker went wide and it appeared
that neither team was going to find their goal scoring touch again as both
teams defended strongly and the ball ran wide regularly.
However with time running out Barbados was gifted with a penalty
which Atwell put away with just over three minutes left. A few minutes
36
later Atwell put away yet another penalty but with only seconds left on the
clock the home side’s final driving gallops came too late and the visitors
held on for victory.
Campbell without a doubt was the man of the match, as he was
involved in almost every play that led to a goal and helped the Villages
to hold off the Hyundai sponsored Barbados team 6-5. Better Luck
