Mirosław Hermaszewski
Mirosław Heramszewski was born on 15th of September in 1941 in Lipniki. He’s the first and only Pole that was in space; Brigadier General of the Polish Army, also pilot and astronaut. He sterted his journey into space with Piotr Klimuk on 27th of June in 1978 at 5:27 PM. They retruned to Earth on 5th of July in 1978 at 4:31 PM. They did 126 laps around the Earth and they beated a few Polish records. Hermaszewski has 16 badges.
SPORTS
Few of Polish famous sports are football, volleyball, handball and skiing (only in winter), but the most famous one is speedway. There are two types of speedway – normal (this season lasts from spring to end of the summer) and winter speedway, also called speedway on the ice. There's at least one team in every region of Poland, but there are some regions that have two teams like Lubusz (Stal Gorzów and Falubaz Zielona Góra).
