I think the question should be, why isn’t there more
plus women on TV? The average woman is not a
110-pound model. Women come in all shapes and
sizes and we need to embrace diversity and break
stereotypes. Full figured women are also successful
and fully capable of inspiring other women to
succeed as well as to accept themselves.
Public figures have the tools and the exposure to
make this possible; this is why it is so important
to have plus women in media. As of today, we have
achieved a lot but the journey doesn’t end here. We
need to keep working at it.
