How long have you been blogging and what prompted you to begin a blog?
Guy Overboard was born in May 2012 from a personal need. I am a fan of Internet and
I’m always looking for new brands and new products to wear online. I also visited men’s
fashion blogs for style inspiration. But most of them were focused on a more classical
style, which was a style far from my everyday life. I wanted to find out everything about
casual, street and urban style. So I thought, “I will talk about it!”. At that time, I didn’t
think of the importance to talk about my body. But thanks to the universe of blogs, I got
to know the curvy world; a world of women who live, and not suffer, with their weight
and their bodies. And this is the spirit I want to show through what I wear. I want to
improve myself by trying to live the best way I can with what my body is today, exalting
and not mortifying it.
Let’s talk fashion, what are some of the challenges plus size men face
when shopping for trendy clothing?
