be fashionable if they want to. They should wear the clothes they want and feel proud in! This industry is so fun to be apart of and has brought really great opportunities my way but the bigger picture of building up the younger generations is what I’m here for. Women and girls need to see us and need to see that they can be beautiful and awesome at any size. My goal is that young girls will accept this truth and find confidence in it! Who do you look to for curvy inspiration? I’m always looking for curvy style inspiration so I am very thankful Instagram exists and that I can search and find different brands and designers from all over to see how they pull together new looks for curvy women. I’m constantly browsing and consuming new ideas and trends and love seeing how other women put things together. From curvy to straight, I love it all and use it as fuel to create my own style. PLUS Model Magazine is also a huge source of curvy fashion inspiration for me, as well as the Style Your Size section of Glamour.com and blogs like GabiFresh and Nicolette Mason. What is the plus industry like in your hometown? Unfortunately, there really isn’t a plus industry in Nashville. I’m lucky enough to be signed with an agency that has put me on their lifestyle board but I still strive for more. Fortunately, I am able to do some e-commerce work around the area and work with a designer modeling evening wear but I’d love to see more local designers be open to using plus models or making plus clothes.
