Tell us a little about yourself and how you got started as a
model.
I’ve been a plus model for 12 years now. I started in NYC where I got
discovered while working in a high-end spa on 5th Ave. I took some
time off to become a mother, and recently the agency MC2 in Miami
has given me a second chance at modeling, which is something I love.
Modeling for me is so much more than a job, it’s an example. As a
mother I am teaching my boys to dare to dream, to go for it and to never
give up.
What have been some of your favorite experiences so far?
In past years I have been able to work with great clients like Torrid,
HSN, Perry Ellis, Harley Davidson and Macy’s. Last year I had my first
opportunity to fly abroad to Hamburg, Germany and work with German
client Otto, that was pretty special.
What is your personal style aesthetic?
I like to think my style is urban chic. City girl with feminine elegance
but shows strength, edge and character.
What fashion trends are you most excited about right now?
Denim!!
