To continue the momentum PLUS Model Magazine has created in
2014, we decided to feature a model we have been watching blossom
right before our very eyes. Jessica Milagros is a hot, sexy Latina whose
undeniable beauty and brains have helped her to navigate the maze
that is the “Plus size modeling industry”. When asked about the plus
size industry Jessica says, “I have no shame in calling myself a plus
size model nor do I believe the term should be abolished from the
industry.”

Maddy: Can you tell us a little about yourself and how you got started
in the modeling industry?
Jessica: I’m a proud Puerto Rican woman, who currently resides in
Chicago. I began my career as a promotional model/ambassador
where I spent time traveling around the country representing various
brands as clients. This ultimately led me to work with one of the
largest privately owned Experiential Marketing firms in the nation.
It was with this firm that I found and fell in love with the full-figured
community, while working through concepts with Lane Bryant to
promote their brand at the 2011 Curvy Revolution Convention.
