IOPSA Gauteng hosts successful golf day
The Institute of Plumbing South Africa ( IOPSA ) Gauteng region held yet another successful golf day at the Kyalami Country Club .

The main purpose of the event is to bring together people from the plumbing industry to network over a game of golf . Industry players — including plumbers , company directors , suppliers , manufacturers , and wholesalers — gathered at the Kyalami Country Club , not only to enjoy a game of golf but also to network with their clients .
According to IOPSA ’ s technical director , Steve Brown , the golf day is good fun and a way to get everybody together , including manufacturers and plumbers . “ It ’ s just a day we can all get together and enjoy chasing a little white , green , or pink ball ,” Brown said . He also added that the golf day was a networking opportunity where everybody from the industry could meet and chat in an informal setting . Most of the people who attended the golf day echoed Brown ’ s views of the event being an enabler to interacting with old acquaintances in the industry .
