CDAA hosts
successful AGM
On Thursday 22 November, members and
executives of the Copper Development
Association Africa (CDAA) gathered
at Thaba ya Batswana, south of
Johannesburg, to discuss closing business,
enjoy a sumptuous lunch, and listen to a
speech by top journalist Jacques Pauw.

Pauw was in fine form as he regaled the enraptured
gathering with tales from the dark side of state capture,
carefully weaving the convincing threads that in the end
were damning of the previous presidency.
Then over a buffet meal and spit-roasted lamb, some of the
country’s top plumbing manufacturers and electricians traded
stories with each other and the esteemed journalist in what
proved a highly successful and fun day for all involved. PA
