MEET FASHION
ARTIST: RAVEN DAKOTA
When you think of fashion you usually think of glitz, glam,
runways, hair and makeup..the usual. But what about the
people behind the scenes who make all the important things
happen or have important roles that play a big part in
fashion? Those people behind the scenes are the most
important people; just as important as the models wearing
the clothes. Behind the style and clothes are fashion artists
who create clothing designs and turn fashion designer’s
visions into a reality. Fashion artists play a huge part in the
creation process and are definitely a necessity.
I had the honor of being able to meet a fashion artist in
Philadelphia who recently graduated with a degree from
Moore School of Art doing what she loves best: illustrating
fashion images and bringing them to life. Right away you can
