Sharing passion at the skate park
As the sport of Skateboarding continues to keep
itself alive, a number of skate parks are now a fa-
miliar part of the urban landscape globally. On
Logos Hope’s recent visit to Puerto Quetzal, Gua-
temala, volunteers had the opportunity to visit a
skate park together with a local church and spent
time with children and teenagers skating or learn-
ing to skate. Andrin Zurbuchen (Switzerland) ex-
plained that through this sport, they could connect
and start conversations. “It was nice that we had
the same passion [for skating],” Also in attend-
ance was Heber Marcos (Brazil) who shared the
gospel as well as his testimony and conversations to those willing to listen and even give their life to Christ. Story from the
