EL VIVIENDO PASION DANCE ACADEMY
The EVP Dance Academy has been in existence for the past 12 years and
has locations in San Fernando, St James and Chaguanas. The Academy’s
main objective is to educate and develop dancers to the highest level through exams competitions
and performances. Classes offered include samba, rumba, contemporary dance and cha-cha-cha
to name a few styles. Its growing membership including associates currently exceeds 100 persons.
The Academy also offers to prepare persons for student and dance teachers exams through the
provision of degree trained instructors in Dance. Two of its members that have participated in the
World Dance Sport Federation games have included Delano Manganoo and Carlene Crichlow.
The Academy continues to strive to also promote dance as a sport and as an excellent source of
therapy. One of its main projects currently includes plans to open up a branch in Christ Church,
Barbados.
