2015 SW Touring/THA Tobago Invitational Masters
Defence Force claimed their second straight title at the 5th annual 2015 SW Touring/THA Tobago Invitational Masters (Over 40) Football Tournament which ended at the Plymouth Recreational Grounds recently. The Soldiers edged Have-A-Time 4—3 on penalties after the two sides
played to a goal-less draw at the end of the regulation time of 40 minutes. THA Secretary of Education, Youth Affairs and Sport Huey Cadette was on hand to present the winning trophy.The
Most Valuable player award went to Defence Force custodian Earl Carter who of course also won
the Best Goal-Keeper award. Many prizes were distributed thanks largely to the support of The
Division of Tourism & Transportation, Division of Education, Youth Affairs & Sport, Screen
Stars, Hyper Malta, Dasani Waters, Power-ade, Bumpy’s Meat, Hunte’s Bar Services and Nestle.
This tournament continues to be well anticipated in the Tobago Sporting Calendar.
