Only Black Belts at New York Referee Workshop
USA Karate International -New York will be hosting a kumite
referee workshop on December 6th 2015. It will take place at
USAKI-New York dojo- 156-28 Hillside Avenue, Jamaica,Queens,New York . For more information or send email to
[email protected]. The workshop will be conducted
by Darryl Williams, Referee Coordinator for the World United
Karate Organization (WUKO) and one of the highest karate
officials in the World. Participants will be introduce to the
fundamentals of officiating in kumite ( sparing). Some the
areas to be cover are conducting matches, awarding points
and penalties, charting, team kumite and rig control. Certificates will given to all who complete the workshop. This event
is open for Black Belts only.
