few items bought in haste end up being great buys. Have an
idea of the shops you like and plan your trip based on some
research. If it’s denim you are after, go somewhere with a
wide choice of brands and even a specialist assistant to
help you. Try before you buy: you’ll save time and money on
returns; speaking of which, make sure you know the returns
policy. If getting to the shops is going to be hard, don’t be
put off by online shopping but read the small print, especially
the bit on how much will it will cost to return items. Many of
the items I edit out of wardrobes are pieces bought online
but not returned due to lack of time. Make time to try online
purchases on during your holiday, too.
Happy Shopping!
Some of Lisa’s

The introductions ...
Lisa Beattie is a mum of two boys and
lives in Mid-Levels. She has a busy
summer coming up, so before she
departs Hong Kong she needs a little bit
of sartorial support.
What I will do is review her wardrobe
and give it a mini-edit. We’ll remove all
the items she doesn’t love or wear –
re-styling or tailoring where we can, to
get the wardrobe working hard. I’ll help
her to plan for her summer trip which
includes a wedding in Rome, a girls’ city
break, a family holiday at Centre Parcs
