In your opinion, what is the hardest step or thing about starting and/or finishing a song? And about performing?

Performing is easy for me. I get on stage and get into my zone. They don't call me Spotlite for nothing. However, with writing songs coming up with a hook is always the hardest step for me. I'll kill verses all day with ease.

How did you come up with the title for your album?

lol well I had just got done battling at a show. This older lady told me she enjoyed the show and was like you're really good and confident, I bet u get that all the time Mr. egotistic. And I was like I like that, so egotistic stuck

What are some fun facts about your music?

I don't rap about things I've never had or never experienced. Some rappers are actors too. Rapping about things they've never seen or done. But you don't hear about Ferrari's or Bentley's in my music. You hear Camaro, Impala ss, Vette.

Who, if anyone, would you compare your music style to?

There's so many but, I'd say I'm inspired and relate to everybody from camron, ti, eminen, and even Kevin gates

How would you describe your experience with trying to make your way into the industry as an artist in St. Louis?

Well I took off really fast in my teens and thought I made it. But it's so much hate in the city. All the clowns, radio djs, and half ass promoters didn't fully support my movement and put me at a stand still.

What do you think could change to help make it easier for St. Louis artists to be heard and taken seriously?

Separate the real from the fake and support each other. It's to much money out here to be made

What or who inspires you to write your music?

Life experiences the good and the bad inspires me
