Waiting Lists
The waiting list for LCHA’s family units included 2,691 households at the end of 2013,
presenting a waiting period from one to five years. For family housing, the composition
of the waiting list at the end of 2013 is shown below, in Exhibit III-49.

The waiting list for families had been closed for over four years but was opened on April
1, 2014, for a one-month application period. The waitlist for senior housing, however,
has remained open during this period; it consists of 206 households, of which 63
percent include people with disabilities and 42 percent are a minority race or ethnicity.
The LCHA is a participating member in the HUD Proje 7B
