What I don’t like about it

It is a little bigger than I prefer. I’m generally a personal-planner user, so this one is a bit larger than I’m used to. The cover of the smaller one is 7.75" x9.75” and the inside pages are7" x 9.25”. You also need to buy a special whole-punch in order to add pages.

Other than that, there are just too many choices and too many accessories! I could spend my entire paycheck just buying supplies!

Ok, that may not be a draw-back, but it doesn’t make it easy to spend responsibly. But it’s all research, right?

Accessories

There is a line of “Planner Basics” which include color-coordinated packs of stickers, sticky notes, pens/pencils, page markers, paper or binder clips, washi tape and more.

You can buy various kinds of additional paper – lined, graph or half-size among them, hole punches that create the pull-out style pages, stamps and stickers. There are sheet protectors of various sizes, and lots of other choices.

Costs

Happy planners range from $29.99 for the stand-alone planners to $34.99 for most of the kits. The student editions are $19.99 and the Big edition is $39.99. The Recipe Organizer is $24.99.

Planner Basics collection items range from $4.99 to $19.99 each. Other accessories range up to about $39.99.

Where to find it

You can always find The Happy Planner™ on its home site, MeAndMyBigIdeas.com. They have the full collection of planners, kits and accessories. The shop accepts PayPal and all major credit cards.

The planners and accessories are also sold in Michael’s Stores, which is actually where I purchased mine, and Hobby Lobby.

It is available in lots of places online, but those are the three places I recommend most. The website store has the most choices, but if you need to hold something in your hand before you can purchase it going to one of the retailers works too.

There are so many planners out there, and everyone uses theirs differently. I don’t believe there is one “best” planner or one right planner for everyone, but I do like my Happy Planner, and can definitely recommend it as one to try. It has been my go-to planner since I purchased it in July. If any of you are using it, we’d love to hear from you. Write to [email protected] to let us know what you think.
