Spring is a time for renewal, rebirth and hope. Nevertheless, our school, workplace environment, and other day to day complications make it difficult to achieve that sense of renewal and alleviate our stress. On some days, it all gets too much too handle. You break down from all the pressure, tension, and demands of society. However, although you may not be aware of it, your life is something living; you are beautiful, precious, and a myriad of other words. For instance, think about a Lotus flower. This sacred flower, also known as a Water Lilly, has been revenued in many cultures. Nonetheless, what people may not know is the symbolism behind the flower. A Lotus grows in a dirty swamp, surrounded by bacteria, algae, and other things. Even so, a Lotus flower shines and rises to the top of the swamp, against all odds. After that, nobody really cares about where the Lotus lives, or where it’s from. They only see the beauty of the flower itself. Your life is just as sacred as each and every petal of a Lotus. You may not be in the best situation right now, or have the most perfect things to work with, but you can still get there. You can shine above all of your struggles and win those battles. We have faith in you. Even the little Water Lily, barely floating on the surface of the bog, believes that you can do it.
