Dealing With Failure

Refer to above tips to distract yourself. Sometimes you just need time to heal, and taking your mind off of it will help you feel better faster. After all, ou don’t keep running on a broken ankle.

If you’re feeling sad or angry, let it out in a safe way. Cry, kick pillows, fling paint at a canvas - anything works, as long as no one is hurt in the process.

Whatever you do, don’t hurt yourself! Is carving scars up and down your legs an improvement? If you actually had to wonder, the answer is no.

Do you remember the last time your best friend failed a test? Do you think of them as any less of a person because of it? Chances are, nobody will remember or care you made a mistake.

There’s probably one Harry Potter book you don’t like as much as the others. Does it make you hate the series? I didn’t think so. Being imperfect doesn’t make you worth any less.
