Brooke and chelsea I think the speeches were our favourite – hearing all of our friends and family celebrate our story was so touching. Everyone was surprised by how long and deeply Chelsea and I loved each other. It was unforgettable to see it all come together. Since we had such a tight budget, we didn’t know if it would look like a wedding. But boy, did it look like a wedding! All of our random items came together so nicely, no one would have ever known our budget. We have a few tips for couples planning to get married. Firstly, don’t get so tied to the idea of ‘the wedding day’ – it’s entirely what you make it! Don’t feel pressured to do certain things to appease other people. At the end of the day, it’s about you and your partner. All 28 » pink weddings magazine your guests are there to celebrate the love you have for each other. Whether your wedding takes place in a mansion or at a park, your guests don’t care – they’re there for you, so don’t get too caught up in all the craziness and focus on what you and your partner want. We’d also suggest, know when to yield to your partner. For example, I let Chelsea pick the fatherdaughter dance song because I knew how much that meant to her.
