Our Annual ESAC X-Country was a
Success
14 October 2013
The ESAC X-Country event began soon after school finished on Monday the
14th October. Students from GIS, Regents and ISE descended upon the
hallowed grounds of St Andrews Green Valley. Over 300 students from the
four schools, including over 100 from St Andrews, competed with great
enthusiasm for individual and school honours.
St Andrews led the way with 5 individual gold medals, winning half of the
race categories. The top 3 placings for each race are listed below.
The top 20 placings from each school were calculated to find the overall
winning school. Regents pipped St Andrews by the narrowest of margins to
take the overall accolade. We are very proud of all our St Andrews athletes
who competed on Monday. Congratulations to you all.
As with many of our sporting events we would like to show our gratitude to
the many staff, parents and students who assisted with the preparation and
facilitation of the event. It was another fantastic team effort.
