Janno on the comeback trail
ABS-CBN Music ’ s Roxy Liquigan gave Janno Gibbs a warm welcome as the latter officially signed a contract under Star Music .
Janno , who took a brief hiatus from showbiz , revealed that his return to the music scene marks the start of his big comeback .
Admitting that he showed signs of being too comfortable for quite some time , he said : “ I ’ m at this point in my career na kailangan ko naman to shake things up , you know fresh . Medyo naging comfortable ako lately so I need to shake things up .”
But even though he has already appeared in several ABS- CBN shows , he clarified the only contract he has signed as of the moment includes only projects with his career as a musician . Then again , he isn ’ t closing his doors to any television and film projects in the future .
“ I hope so , na try ko na sa ‘ Ang Probinsyano .’ I guested in ‘ ASAP ,’ ‘[ It ’ s ] Showtime ,’ GGV . So far masaya ako , hopefully magtuloy-tuloy ,” he stated .
Now that he is officially part of Star Music , Janno hopes he could do a could get the chance to work with his friends Ogie Alcasid and Jaya who happen to be his fellow former colleagues from the rival network .
“ Si Ogie kasama ko sa mga guesting , si Jaya I ’ ve seen her here . I missed them . ‘ Pag nagkakausap kami over the phone , kahit sila nag po-post na we miss working together . More than 10 years kami magkakasama so iba ang friendship , kasi magkakaibigan kami . Pero ‘ yung working together , we miss that of course ,” he said .
Janno , who will be releasing his first single under Star Music soon , revealed that his song called “ Feeling JKL ” is an ode to the youthfulness of three of the most sought-after love teams in

Singer-actress Richelle Ann Loyola , better known in the industry as Jessa Zaragoza , took to Instagram to share in a lengthy post her grief over the passing of her older brother Ramon Loyola , who died due to an aneurysm , which caused massive bleeding in his brain .
“ I still can ’ t fathom how this has happened , it was so sudden . Kuya , I will always remember the good times we spent together , I will not forget the support you have given my family , especially to Jayda , the loving letter you posted for her , during the time she was cyberbullied , it meant a lot to us . The 39-year-old celebrity also expressed her sincerest gratitude for her brother for always reminding her how important she was in his life .
“ I will not forget the times you told me how proud you were of me , and of what I have achieved in life , and how you were not shy about telling everyone how proud you were to have me as your sister . Thank you for all of that , and for loving me , Kuya Ricky ,” she added .

Alex Gonzaga moves on after breakup
Alex Gonzaga , 30 , does not look like someone who has a hard time moving on after a break up . Just observe how comfortable she is working with ex-flame Kean Cipriano , who is now married and has a kid with Chynna Ortaleza . Alex and Kean are both “ Singvestigators ” of “ I Can See Your Voice ,” the TV show hosted by Luis Manzano .

Maricris Garcia wants to keep show intimate
Maricris Garcia will celebrate two milestones – her 11th anniversary and coming 31st birthday – with the special show titled “ MAR1CR1S ,” at Teatrino on September 28 , 8 p . m .
The singer-actress believes in the “ perfect timing ” and deems that now is the right time for her to present her musical journey as well as her “ personal life , [ musical ] influences and more .”
In an interview , Maricris , the winner of “ Pinoy Pop Superstar ” in 2007 , said the size of her venue and her repertoire – mostly “ quiet ” numbers – allows for her to keep her concert intimate . She has also chosen only her dearest friends such as Mark Bautista , Nar Cabico and Regine Velasquez-Alcasid – all of whom she greatly admires – to share the stage with her .
“ During the first few months of planning , everything was easy . But as the days go by , I started to feel the pressure and the stress . Good thing I have the support of GMA Artist Center and a few people who offered their help in making this concert possible .”
The artist feels extreme appreciation that she is able to live out her passion . She is also very grateful fans have thrown their support behind her . Currently , tickets to the show are selling out fast .
“ I want to let them know I ’ m still here and I will always be here , singing ,” promised Maricris , who plans to create something new for her fans by Valentine ’ s next year . ●
