INC IN CANADA CELEBRATES 50 YEARS IN THE WEST , CONTINUES COMMUNITY OUTREACH
VANCOUVER , ON : PRIME MINISTER OF CANADA , Justin Trudeau , together with many government officials across Canada sent letters and video greetings to the Iglesia Ni Cristo ( INC ) or Church Of Christ , in celebration of its 104-year anniversary of establishment , and 50 years expansion in the western hemisphere .
Thousands of congregations across the globe linked via live streaming to witness a special worship service led by INC Executive Minister , Eduardo V . Manalo . It was held in historic Ewa Beach , Hawaii , where INC ’ s first foreign mission took place 50 years ago . The service included the dedication of a new 810-seater chapel and the ordination of 50 new ministers .
In the Greater Vancouver area and Alberta Province alone over 3,500 members of the Church gathered at INC chapels in Burnaby , Surrey and Victoria , and other venues in Calgary , Eastwood and Edmonton to attend the special worship service .
Celebrations continued at Massey Theatre in New Westminster , BC , with a musical stage play centered on Christian values , entitled “ One Flock and One Shepherd ”. The musical program resounded with its jubilant medley of modern and classical music , heartfelt dance , and a zealous cast and crew of about 150 members , while telling the story of the INC from its humble beginnings in the Philippines to global expansion .

The Iglesia Ni Cristo will soon be dedicating newly renovated chapels in Calgary , Toronto , and Halifax in the next few months .
INC added that it will be holding outreach activities in the GTA and other sites in Canada in the upcoming months to help fight hunger and poverty . One in September aims to help in particular the Winnipeg Native American Community .
The Iglesia Ni Cristo ( Church Of Christ ) is a global church comprised of approximately 6,000 local congregations and missions in 143 countries and territories , with approximately 370 congregations throughout Canada and the US . Its membership consists of 133 ethnic groups and nationalities .###

Kris Aquino was in character as Princess Intan as she attended the Hollywood red carpet premiere of her international flick “ Crazy Rich Asians .”
Alongside her red-carpet photos for the movie ’ s Hollywood premiere , the actress and multimedia personality divulged that she is playing Princess Intan , a snobbish Malay royalty “ who refuses to speak with anyone ,” according to a description by Teen Vogue .
In the movie , Kris can be seen wearing a yellow Michael Cinco creation while sharing a scene with one of the lead stars , Constance Wu .
She walked the red carpet wearing a bright yellow ensemble . The gown , with a plunging neckline and a sequined huge bow belt , was accentuated with a custommade jewelry .
Kris ’ s makeup was by her personal makeup artist , RB Chanco , who recently released a makeup book . The actress ’ hair , meanwhile , is by Los Angelesbased celebrity hairstylist Pin Antonio .
Kris was escorted by her son , Bimby , who wore a Barong Tagalog .
