Top-rating afternoon family drama The Greatest Love, which ended in April and told the story of Gloria (Sylvia Sanchez), a mother diagnosed with Alzheimer’s dis- ease and struggling to keep her family together, was named Best Drama Series Program. Meanwhile, Failon Ngayon sa DZMM, Ted Failon’s award-win- ning radio show, was hailed as Best News Commentary. Other Kapamilya winning programs include Home Sweetie Home (Best Comedy Program), ASAP (Best Entertainment Show), Oyayi (Best Children and Youth Program), and Pluma (Best Reli- gious Program). ABS-CBN songs, music vid- eos, and station ID were also hon- ored, including “Ikaw ang Sun- shine Ko” (Best Secular Song), ABS-CBN Palawan Christmas Station ID 2016 (Best Station ID), “Together We Thrive” by Piolo Pascual (Best Music Video and Best Inspirational Song), and Ha- lalan Prayer, Best TV AD-Public Service.● At 78, Pilita Corrales vows to go on singing Just days after singing an im- promptu duet with Pres. She said that she would keep on singing “as long as people want to hear me sing.” The con- cert is her second major concert at Solaire.
