DongYan brings home fond memories of US trip
The recent US trip of Kapuso Primetime King and Queen Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera was filled with fond memories from their participation in the Philippine Independence Day celebrations ( PIDC ) in two cities in California .
DongYan ’ s presence at the highly successful “ Pista sa Nayon : Philippine Independence Day ” in Vallejo and the PIDC in Carson City last June 3 and 10 , respectively , was made possible by GMA Pinoy TV .
Dingdong and Marian , who flew to the US with their baby Zia , could not forget the warm welcome from the Kapuso Abroad as soon as they arrived at the Vallejo Waterfront in Mare Island Way for the festivities organized by the Philippine Cultural Community of Solano County , Inc . The Kapuso royal couple delighted the crowd as they danced , joked , teased , playfully flirted with each other on stage , and even challenged three newlyweds to a dance showdown .

ZSA ZSA Padilla has been absent from the movie scene for some time . Her last movie was “ You ’ re Still the One ” two years ago for Regal , where she played Dennis Trillo ’ s blind mother . But now , she ’ s back in two new movies , “ Bes and the Beshies ” and “ Ang Larawan .”
“ Bes ” is a comedy about four friends and she co-stars with Ai Ai de las Alas , Carmi Martin and Beauty Gonzales , directed by Joel Lamangan and produced by Dennis Evangelista for Cineko Productions .
“ Larawan ” is a period musical set before World War II where she vacation at South Lake Tahoe . DongYan also celebrated their 10th anniversary of being one of GMA ’ s iconic on-screen couples .
Dingdong and Marian also paid a courtesy visit to the Consular General Office of Los Angeles , in which they were awarded citations of merit and recognition from the Senate , Congress , House Assembly , City , and the Foundation . GMA International , the Network ’ s international business unit , was also recognized for its continuous support of the annual PIDC .
Meanwhile , the show in Carson City , which was organized by the Philippine Independence Day Foundation , provided no dull moment as Dingdong and Marian filled the event with excitement . A huge number of fans trooped to the GMA Pinoy TV booth to have their dream photo op with DongYan after the show .
Dingdong expressed his appreciation to the Kapuso Abroad for the successful celebrations . “ It
co-stars with other singers like Rachel Alejandro , Joanna Ampil and Celeste Legaspi . It ’ s being entered in the Metro Manila Film Festival this December .
Zsa Zsa is engaged to be married to Conrad Onglao and when asked about this when she appeared on ABS-CBN ’ s “ Magandang Buhay ” recently , she said : “ May mga inaayos pa .” It ’ s common knowledge they broke up last year but quietly reconciled early this year . “ Yes , there was a time when we were apart . Minsan nga , nasabi ko was a very , very warm welcome . Lalong naging significant ang pagpunta namin . Through our shows , we hope to bring the feeling of being home with them ,” said Dingdong , who will soon start preparing for the second book of Alyas Robin Hood .
Marian echoed the sentiment as she enjoyed being united with Pinoys abroad . “ Nakakatuwa ‘ yung pagtanggap ng mga tao . Ang sarap ng pakiramdam kapag ‘ yung mga kapwa Pilipino mo , talagang nagsasamasama to celebrate especially Independence Day ,” said the host of Tadhana , a drama anthology about Filipinos abroad . Zsa Zsa finds her life partner

Angelika enters in “ Ika-6 na Utos ”
Angelika dela Cruz has been added to “ Ika-6 na Utos ” as an added antagonist to Sunshine Dizon ’ s lead character , Emma . Some folks say the show is now “ nakakaumay ” and they are tired of watching it because the story is just being stretched and stretched to kingdom come .
But if the majority of viewers share the same view , how come the ratings of the show continue to soar to high heavens , eclipsing the noontime shows that compete with it ?
As Sunshine Dizon herself proclaimed : “ The ratings will speak for itself . Kahit may pintas , talagang pinag-uusapan pa rin ang show . And ‘ Ika-6 na Utos ’ remains to be the number one daytime drama and the only one shown six days a week from Monday to Saturday . We started airing in December and now , after six months , mataas pa rin ang ratings namin .”
Obviously , Angelika is introduced to add spice to the story . She plays Geneva , a new contravida .
“ I plan sana to go back to acting next year pa kasi mataba pa ako after delivering my second child ,” she said . “ Also , marami rin akong trabaho as a barangay captain in Malabon . But Sunshine herself called me to offer me the role at parang reunion namin since ‘ Ikaw Lang ang Mamahalin ’ days namin . So I ’ m back to work na . Kontrabida rito si Geneva at pahihirapan ko si Sunshine as Emma kaya I ’ m sure the viewers will hate me .
It ’ s quite challenging and I ’ m glad I accepted to do it . Magmamaldita talaga ako rito at sobrang epal kasi pagnanasaan ko pa si Mike Tan as Angelo kaya guguluhin ko ang relasyon nila ni Sunshine ,” she added . “ Marami akong pasabog
When Conrad was asked who Zsa Zsa is in his life , he replied : “ She ’ s my life , my life partner . Zsa Zsa is very sweet , very thoughtful , extremely generous at heart . And I ’ m always so touched by that .”
Well , how sweet , isn ’ t it ? We ’ re praying that these sweet feelings they have for each other now will stay with them for the rest of their lives so that they will have a long and lasting relationship as a loving couple .( M . Bautista , Malaya )
