Since then, the group is nearing 100 members as new prospective members. On July 9, 2018, the orga- nization received the Certification of Incorporation un- der the Societies proud to announce Act as a registered our fellow Filipino non- profit society officially setting the wheels in mo- tion for the SFCSBC. The idea was formulated from the collective desire to provide a strong pillar of support with the emphasis of providing needed assistance for newcomers so that they may inte- grate successfully to build more vi- brant and dynamic neighborhoods within Surrey. SFCSBC aims to connect and engage the Filipino Canadian com- munity in Surrey about issues that matter to them and their families through the spirit of good will, friend- ship and multiculturalism.
