Career, Taxes and Benefits Orientation held at
Malayan Plaza by Pathways to Canada
On January 24,2018, thirteen
immigrants bound to different
provinces of Canada gathered and
actively participated in their Pre-
arrival service orientation by Pathways
to Canada held at the Malayan Plaza,
Ortigas Center, Pasig City.
Apart from the orientation
officers who discussed Job Search
Tools and Employment in Canada
few immigrants were invited to
speak of their journey to boost and
encourage these immigrants to put
their best foot forward in their country
of destination. Among the guests is
Mr. Bert Parungao who is currently
in Vancouver but once proved that
distance is nothing if you desire to
help your Kababayans, thanks to
technology. With his message full of
encouragement, he highlighted that
all immigrants must not lose focus in
their journey and always start with a
purpose.

Leda visits Pathways in Ortigas
Leda Del Rosario of MHHS visited Pathways Office
in Ortigas last January 23, 2018. She wasn’t able
to give a talk but she left a three-page summary of
their migration which can be shared to the clients.
The main messages are how Welcoming Canada
is to newcomers and the availability of resources for
immigrants in order to be successful in their fields of
profession.
