THE TALL ORDER

I failed to control my emotion when I saw Sen . Jun Enverga lying motionless , holding a rosary inside a half-open coffin . I shed a tear . I paid Sen . Jun my last respect Sunday afternoon together with hundreds of Filipinos as he will be buried Monday morning . Sen . Jun was one of the few people that I admire for humility . Kahit di pa siya Senador at plain and simple kabayan lang na kasama naming mga manunulat sa maliliit na barikan sa tahanan ng katotong Tenny Soriano sa Scarborough . At kahit na na-appoint na syang Senador nuong September 2012 , di pa rin nagbago si Sen . Jun . Plain “ Jun ” lang gusto niyang itawag naming mga manunulat sa kaniya . His sudden demise is a big loss to the Filipino community in Canada .

US Prez Donald Trump said he turned down being named Time ’ s “ Person of the Year ” after the magazine asked him for an interview and photo shoot but did not confirm he would be chosen .
The magazine confers the distinction on the person who “ for better or for worse ... has done the most to influence the events of the year .” Trump was named the magazine ’ s 2016 “ Person of the Year ” following his election , in an edition which carried the title “ President of the Divided States of America .” Trump is one heck of a ‘ supercalifrajalisticexpialidocious ’ as one of the songs of Patti Austin implies . Trump is enjoying his presidency . He doesn ’ t care whether his allies left him or abandon him for lackadaisical decisions he made . As long as he believe he is right , no one could question him . He is the President and he is supposed to be right in any or all decision he would make . He is not thinking of a re-election , eh . He is just enjoying being the President of the most powerful nation in the planet , thus , he is the most powerful man in the world .

It was Canada ’ s PM Justin Trudeau who told the world media in a press conference of Canada ’ s concern of the reported human rights violations in the Philippines and the dreaded EJKs or the extra-judicial killings where more than 10,000 drug-related deaths were allegedly committed by the Police in its war against illegal drugs in the country . Trump did not touch the issue as it is a local problem DU30 has to deal with . Trudeau said what his mind dictates even without probably true and correct statistics from the Police or a report from the country ’ s intelligence unit or from the local human rights group . ‘ Don ’ t come to the Philippines unless you are invited ,” Prez Rody told the European Human Rights Advocates who entered the country only to propagate false news about the DU30 ’ s war on illegal drugs and the now infamous EJKs that included young kids who were allegedly killed just for suspicion of being peddlers of shabu . I believe Prez Rody is right in banning these people who claimed proponents of human right violations in entering the Philippines . These people I believe are being paid by critics of DU30 to destroy whatever good programs PrezRody have been implementing in the country . Maybe , drug cartels are behind the campaign of these human rights advocates to negate what DU30 is successfully executing now . Remember , illegal drug business in the Philippines runs in billions of pesos monthly before DU30 declared war on this illegal trade . Tuloy lang po ang laban . Ubusin nyo ang drogang salot sa lipunan .
Tamaan na ang tatamaan , huwag kang titigil PrezRody ! ***** I made a correct prediction that Miss South Africa will win the 2017 Miss Universe and that Miss Philippines would not make it to the Top 5 . Masyadong maganda mukha at katawan ng Miss South Africa eh .. Hindi masyadong matangkad tulad ng mga kalaban at look at her face , parang reyna ang dating ! I was also correct that Miss Thailand would enter the Top 5 , likewise Miss Columbia , whom I predicted would be the biggest competitor for the crown , but , I stick with Miss South Africa .
