and produces panicles up to 40 cm long . For adult individuals , inflorescences are many flowered with rigid , shiny , yellow flowers richly marked with dark brown basal blotches . Sepals and petals margins are strongly revolute ( Fig . 10 ). The sister species P . kunstleri Hook . f . ( Fig . 11 ) is distinguished mainly by its much more massive column and its bifid callus , directly attached to the column foot while the callus of P . fuscata is shorter and is borne between the lateral lobes .
