Interactive Media Design provides the development skills required to bridge the gap between people and technology .
• What you may study :
1 : Experiencing the Digital City ; Being Digital ; Acquisition for VFX ; Programming for Media and Design ; Producing Digital ; Foundation Product Design 1 .
2 : Practical Interaction Design ; Sound Theory ; Digital Video Development ; Playful Interaction ; 2D Computer Animation ; Option including Mobile Applications Development and Physical Computing .
Develop your skills with industry standard software and be shown established methods for creating engaging and exciting experiences . You will gain the skills to understand and respond to the rapid integration of technology into our lives . In addition , you will gain an in-depth knowledge of Interaction Design alongside practical skills in programming and sound and video production .
3 : Digital Storytelling ; Scripting for Interactive Media ; Responsive Environments ; Creative Team Project ; Option including Sound Production ; Sound Production & Creative Computing Internship .
4 : Honours Project ; User Experience ; Professional Identity through Portfolio Development ; Options including Creative Computing and Starting a New Business .
