Graduates of Screen Academy Scotland have recently been nominated for an Oscar , won BAFTAs and had work screened at Cannes . One of our students has this year been crowned the Young Journalist of the Year for the second time , and our photography , music and acting students routinely win national and international awards .
Entrepreneurship is also at our heart . We were one of the first to be nationally awarded for our work supporting start-ups and small businesses with the Small Business Charter Award . We have helped 350-plus student start-ups over the past decade , as well as hundreds of local SMEs .
But you don ’ t need to take our word for it . Our ability to nurture talent and develop tomorrow ’ s big names was recently recognised by the Guardian University Guide 2017 , which rated us as number one in the UK for ‘ Value Added ’.
