Gary Miller’s life took a new turn last year. A press kit left on a table, images of women in captivity and the words 'Sex Trafficking' stared at him. When Gary read IJM's mission statement (International Justice Mission) and learned more about human trafficking and the violence women suffer in its hands, Gary realized there was a world of utter misery, not only around the world, but here in the US as well.
IJM is a human rights organization that rescues victims of violence, sexual exploitation, slavery and oppression.
Gary's heart sank. 'How can a man force an 8-9-10 year old girl to have sex 10 times a day?". Gary also read about a 'pretty' woman, 42, who had been dishoned by her family because of 'sex trafficking' and her only way out of that life was to commit suicide.
In 2013, Gary Miller founded Rock Against Trafficking - R.A.T. - and is gathering an impressive list of legendary artists to participate and donate their talents for the recording of the music of Sting and support International Justice Mission.
