"I am an award-winning San Francisco-based children's musical stories and quirky folk pop artist! Fans of Ingrid Michaelson and Regina Spektor resonate with my music. Aoede, muse of song in Greek mythology, is my artist identity. I chose this affinity to inspire and be inspired. I am drawn to young adult stories and adolescent struggles, and my musical stories reflect them. Since Apr 2008, I have battled a rare autoimmune disease: Dermatomyositis (DM). I use art and music as a healing path, and to inspire kids who share my disease to do the same. Music and art are my lifelines; I cannot stop creating. My latest musical story: "What Are Dreams Made Of?" is a meld of magic, mythology and music and is being adapted to Children's Musical Theater in May."
