The visionary singer-songwriter and musician shares his love affair with photography in his gorgeous house in the Hollywood Hills.

The cults of Innocents is the guiding theme of the new photography work of renowned singer-songwriter, musician and DJ, Moby, which follows the album of the same title, Innocents, released in October 2013. Perhaps not a lot of people are aware of the fact that, besides music, Moby, has nurtured a love affair with photography since he was 9 years old.

Innocent, currently showcasing at Project Gallery in Hollywood, follows Moby’s acclaimed photography exhibition Destroyed, 2011, exhibited in New York, Los Angeles and worldwide concurring with his year long concert tour.

“The Renaissance was interesting but ultimately kind of a mistake”, admits the artist, while sipping a cup of tea in his gorgeous house on the Hollywood Hills built in part by renowned architect John Lautner.

Moby, whom shares an ancestral relationship to Moby Dick’s author Herman Melville, hence the nickname Moby, has moved from his hometown New York to Los Angeles in 2011' and ever since has become fascinated by “the integration of nature in this city that is both beautiful and strange”.

The artist has gained international success following the 1999 release of his fifth album Play, a visionary infusion of electronica and blues, and has sold over 20 million records worldwide.
