Q: I have been diagnosed with cancer, which I now know was most likely caused by the stress I endured over my life. I had heard that there was evidence that Meditation and Spirituality reduces stress and enhances health. Can this help my cancer in any way? - Marilyn E. - NJ

A: In the past four decades, science has made considerable advancements in terms of understanding stress and its effects on the body. Scientifically, stress is any challenge to “homeostasis” or the body’s integral sense of balance stemming from our internal or external environments. Disease primarily is expressed by the un-balance that is created by the low-density frequencies in the energy fields of the body, influrncing our DNA. Epigenetic Therapy targets the root of the frequencies that have activated the unbalance, rather than addressing the symptoms of disease. Yes, healing is about re-establishing homeostasis, but it is also about uniting with your spiritual strength. It is in the "Trust of The Perfection of The Creation" that true healing takes place. Today, there is increasing scientific evidence that Spirituality beneficially affects patient outcomes in a variety of illness, including cancer.
